The creator
For more than a decade, Savera — a mother of four and a lawyer by training — has been collecting what most people overlook: vintage papers, old wedding invitations, tailoring remnants, tea-dyed pages, lace, embroidery, sari trims.
Twelve years of tea-dyeing, stitching and composing later, that instinct has become a discipline. What began as junk journaling in a home in Islamabad has grown into something more distinctive — handmade art journals, built slowly, one at a time, for the people who ask for them by name.

The make
A length of Banarasi silk, given by Savera's parents for her wedding. Meant for a bed cover once. Later a window pelmet. Then packed away and forgotten.
Years on, it was found again — and became a journal.
Family history, kept rather than discarded. Rediscovered. Transformed. Carried forward, page by page.

Every Trinketz book begins with something that has lived a previous life —
Nothing here is decorative filler. These are materials with a past — and because many cannot be found again, no book can ever be exactly repeated.
Each book is slowly composed by hand — tea-dyed, stitched, layered and rearranged until it feels right. One original work, made for one collector.
Before the Collectors’ List existed, the making didn’t stop. A small collection of finished, one-of-a-kind books is ready to meet its first collectors.
